Next Step

Hey everybody! It’s been a little while, but I’m going to try posting every Sunday. I can’t entirely promise it though, because school is starting soon so I’ll have a blow to the face which might cause a little while of silence. But anyway, today I am here to announce something crazy, a huge step I took. I officially have my own YouTube Channel! It’s called xXWinterCookie StudiosXx. This is a crazy leap for me, merely because more people have the ability to access it, and it’ll be easier to find than my old, dusty website that’s in the corner of all the endless amounts of websites on Google. I am terrified, yet so excited and motivated to see how this goes.
Here is the piece I did in the Speedpaint;

I did a very quick piece, because I mainly needed to figure out how to do things. The video is around 3 minutes long, but in real time it took me around an hour. Crazy how I can squeeze that much time into a tiny little bite-sized video. It was really fun to do, in all honesty. Most of the drawing process my hand wasn’t listening to me, and making wobbly lines, but it was still great. And in the beginning I wanted to do a Piece involving me and all my Ocs, but I decided against it because I wanted to do something short and sweet. But in the end I added a little bit of a background because it was feeling really boring, though, I still felt uneasy about the piece. Then, I added Lighting. And oh goose it helped so much, it was also just so satisfying to do it! Now, some other good news that I have is, you can now register on my Site! It is recommended because then you will be notified when I post something new, and you’ll be able to comment. It’s not the biggest change, but it’s a good one, I believe.

And again we move on, to the story I’m working on. And no, it’s not Dawn.. It’s called Tales of Karnall; Silent Yearning!
But, wait, am I working on two stories at once? Have I abandoned Dawn? How could I abandon Dawn?!

No, calm down. I didn’t abandon Dawn, and I am not working on two stories at once either. I decided I needed to do something really short, because Dawn turned into a moderate sized Story, and that’ll take a while. Yes, I know, it sounds like I’m lazy, but, I want to practice my skill on being able to make short stories without making them super long because I get so attached. So, in conclusion, I’m merely working on this before I move back to Dawn. So no worries. Anywho, Tales of Karnall is actually a sort of series. But I won’t have a specific date I’ll be posting, for example, like; every week, or every Friday etc. I’m going to do it this way; I’ll work on Tales of Karnall, then I’ll work on another Story, for example, Dawn, then I’ll finish with Dawn, and come back to Tales of Karnall. It’s a kind of thing to keep everyone busy while I take a break from making bigger stories. So yeah, it’s pretty interesting, I suppose. I’ve already got all the scripts done, and I’m currently World Building the World of Karnall, but it’s all going smoothly, and I hope to finish it soon.
